Hours: Monday to Friday (no nights) – up to 10pm on a shift system, overtime available About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
to join our team at the Stradbroke Site. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing plant equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production operations. This is a full-time, day-shift role with the opportunity for overtime. Key Responsibilities: Efficiently maintain and repair electrical and mechanical plant equipment.
Carry out diagnostic and fault-finding procedures to resolve issues quickly.
Perform routine maintenance and ensure general upkeep of all machinery.
Respond to and resolve both electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
Support small projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute to maintaining a safe, compliant, and high-quality working environment.
About You: Apprentice-trained or qualified in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across electrical and mechanical systems.
Experience within a manufacturing, food, or FMCG environment is desirable.
Flexible, reliable, and committed to delivering high standards of safety and quality.
A team player who can also work independently when required.
