Maintenance Engineer – London & Kent
£12.50 - £14.50 ph (DOE) + Package
Hill McGlynn is working in partnership with a well-established M&E subcontractor to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to work on projects in London and Kent.
The primary purpose of this role is to carry out maintenance tasks at client premises ensuring that you have complied with all our clients and customer requirements in relation to the task to be performed ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures including completion of all associated documentation. You will report directly to the Maintenance Manager.

General Tasks
* Ensuring that all jobs are attended in a timely manner and in accordance with the instructions issued to you
* Ensuring you complete all job sheets comprehensively so as to ensure efficiency with return visits
* Complete all client portals as required and in accordance with instruction
* To use joblogic as per training provided to ensure information is communicated efficiently without neednfor questioning
* Ensuring that all equipment issued to you is maintained in a good clean working order reporting any defects/loss or damages
* Ensuring all equipment is made available on request for calibration, testing and inspections
* To complete all training allocated within the agreed timeframes specified
Technical Tasks;
Refrigeration
* In depth inspections to pipework and associated components for defects and damage
* Inspection condition of crank case heaters if fitted
* Check the mechanical operation and condition on compressors (s)
* Recording and logging temperatures
* Checking systems for noise and vibration and completion of refrigeration check list and asset register
Electrical Systems
* Ensure tightness of all terminators, switchgear, and electrical connections
* Check and record parameters and set points and survey cable termination for condition
* Ensure moisture free electrical compartments
A/C Systems
* Complete in-depth inspection to pipework and associated components for defects and damage
* Inspect condition of crank case heaters if fitted
* Record and log temperature and check system for noise and vibration
* Clean out filters and condensers
* Check operations of internal/external pumps and test drains
* Completion of A/C check list and asset register
