Maintenance Engineer

Straight-Line Civils are currently hiring a Mechanical Engineer in Tamworth.
This candidate will be supporting the Maintenance Manager to provide both electrical and mechanical support to the company's plant, equipment, and installations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide a pro-active approach to the prevention of equipment failure and ensuring the schedule is carried out as planned
* Ensuring that all work is completely safe, efficient, and compliant
* Resolve mechanical and/or electrical problems in a timely fashion
* Support business production goals
Desirable Qualifications and Skills:
* Technical certification or degree qualification - level 2 minimum
* Technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
* Investigating mindset with a can do attitude
Salary - £35,000 - 40,000
Hours :
* Monday - Thursday = 06:00 - 13:30 / 13:30 - 21:00
* Friday = 06:00 - 12:30 / 12:30 - 19:00
* Role requires a workign rota of 1 Saturday every 6 weeks and 1 week of nights per year (to cover AL)
This is a permanent contract with an expanding local company.
