Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: York
Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating double days (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm)
Salary: Up to £40,000

Are you a skilled maintenance engineer looking to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team? We’re looking for a proactive and reliable Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to help keep operations running smoothly across a busy production environment.

You’ll work on a wide range of equipment, tackling both mechanical and electrical issues, and play a key role in supporting continuous improvement and minimising downtime.
Working closely with production teams to maintain peak operational performance
Assisting with equipment installation and commissioning

Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with food safety and hygiene standards

What we’re looking for:

Experience in a maintenance engineering role – food or FMCG background ideal

Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills (including pneumatics and hydraulics)

A proactive, can-do attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexibility to work shifts and support production as needed
