Flexible People are currently recruiting a Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a prestigious client based in Bicester. This is a Monday to Friday role. The times are 0900am-1700pm. The rate of pay is 22.00ph. Purpose of the Position: The primary objective is to ensure that the manufacturing and site facilities, equipment, and machinery at Fresh Direct are serviced & maintained to an agreed standard ensuring safe production and storage of foodstuffs, as determined by the Operations/Technical teams. In addition, key areas of responsibility include equipment commissioning, health & safety projects, engineering stock control and workshop organisation. Key Activities & Responsibilities: ·Complete PPM (Planned preventative maintenance) routine inspections and checks on a weekly/monthly basis, and complete required paperwork. ·Perform mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance on equipment, machinery, and the facility. ·Prioritise effectively, and minimise machine downtime which could affect productivity ·Ensure the correct care and safe use guidelines are adhered too when using tools and maintenance equipment.
