Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Location: Burton Upon Trent Salary: £55,000 Bonuses (Approx £60,000) Shift:(Three Shift Rotation, MondayFriday) Role Purpose The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for the safe installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across all operations. This includes high-voltage systems (up to 11kV), mobile plant, and fixed infrastructure. The role supports equipment reliability and ensures full compliance with statutory and site specific electrical safety standards. Key Responsibilities Install, inspect, and maintain HV/LV electrical infrastructure, including substations, switchgear, and control panels.

Perform electrical installations for new infrastructure and system upgrades.

Diagnose and repair faults on equipment such as mobile plant (e.g., drills, loaders, trucks), conveyors, crushers, pumps, and ventilation systems.

Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance in line with safety and operational standards.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance work, and electrical schematics.

Assist in commissioning and handover of new installations and system modifications.
