A well-established leading company based outside of York is looking for an experienced, highly motivated multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join the business. Preferably with experience from a manufacturing or distribution sector background. This is a varied role, over a large site with a dynamic, friendly environment.

The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

Deliver effective support in checking, repairing and servicing machinery equipment system and infrastructures. Ensure that industrial machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably including planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance Ensure full plant working with reactive and PPM and strong Health and Safety awareness Assist with calibrating fixed and portable temperature monitoring equipment To ensure that machinery and equipment run smoothly and reliablyIn return, the successful Maintenance Engineer will be part of a business that recognises talent and skill and will always promote from within where possible.  You will enjoy a successful career and the salary is advertised as £40,000.

This role is working a 4 on/off continental DAYS shift pattern - 6am - 6pm
