We are looking for a skilled
Maintenance Engineer
to join our dedicated foundry maintenance team. In this critical role, you will be the first line of defence against machinery breakdowns
diagnosing faults, repairing die-casting machines, and ensuring production runs at maximum efficiency. From routine servicing to complex installations, youll provide expert maintenance support across our production areas, offices, and wider facilities. Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality in-house maintenance services to production departments, offices, and site facilities.
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
Respond rapidly to breakdowns, minimising downtime and keeping production on target.
Install and commission both new and existing equipment.
Carry out routine servicing and planned preventative maintenance.
Work alongside the Maintenance Manager and fellow engineers to resolve complex issues.
Test, inspect, and repair machinery, replacing electrical/electronic components (relays, switches, motors) and mechanical parts.
Reset electrical panels and restore equipment to service.
Keep accurate, up-to-date maintenance records.
Recommend improvements to equipment, processes, and safety standards.
Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring faults and proposing preventative solutions.
Maintain and repair the physical structure of the site.
Request replacement parts, tools, and equipment when required.
