The basics:

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Burton

Pay: £38000 to £45000 dependent on competencies/skill set.

Hours: Monday to Friday 6:30am to 3pm

Overtime: 1.5. Mon-Fri from 3pm onwards and Saturday until 12 midday. Double time Saturday 12 onwards and Sundays.

Industry: Manufacturing

Holidays: 25 + 8 bank holidays

Overview:

Working for a large manufacturing business that have sites across the globe we now require a site-based Maintenance Engineer to join the team. Both mechanical and electrical engineers considered.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.

Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns

PPM'sThe ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

Time served apprentice trained or above

Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar

An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding would be beneficial if you do not have electrical certifications (Electrical training can be given - the company provide electrical courses offsite)Commutable from: Burton-On-Trent, Derby, Swadlincote, Lichfield and surrounding areas.
