Maintenance Engineer

Location: Leicester

Hours: Monday to Friday (with alternate Saturdays)

Shifts:

* Shift 1: 09:00–18:00 (Mon–Fri) & 07:00–11:00 (Sat)

* Shift 2: 07:00–16:00 (Mon–Fri)

Pay: £19.29 per hour (Tariff 1) | £28.94 overtime (Tariff 2) | £38.58 Sundays (Tariff 3)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy engineering team within a well-established organisation. This is a hands-on role working with a wide range of equipment, where no two days are the same.

The Role

As part of a team of highly experienced engineers, you will:

* Carry out planned servicing and inspections to a high standard.

* Respond to breakdowns with efficient fault diagnosis and reactive maintenance.

* Undertake welding and fabrication work as required.

* Complete all maintenance documentation accurately and on time.

* Attend internal and external training to continually develop your skills.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

* Proven experience in a maintenance engineering environment.

* Excellent working knowledge of mechanical machinery, hydraulics and electrics.

* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability.

* A positive “can-do” attitude and the ability to work independently.

* A full UK driving licence.

Experience working on baling press machines would be an advantage, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
