We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading provider of healthcare and life science solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your engineering expertise in a role that directly supports the NHS, protects vulnerable patients, and contributes to infection prevention.
\n\nWhat You'll Do\n
In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of plant and machinery, including:
\n
\n \n Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.
\n
\n
\n Overseeing contractors and service engineers.
\n
\n
\n Performing routine tests and supporting validation processes.
\n
\n
\n Managing spare parts and advising on replenishment.
\n
\n
\n Participating in the on-call rota and occasional travel to other sites.
\n
\n
\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n
We're seeking an engineer with the right mix of technical expertise and proactive mindset:
\n
\n \n Apprentice-trained engineer (or equivalent).
\n
\n
\n Minimum 2 years' engineering experience in facilities or manufacturing.
\n
\n
\n Mechanical or electrical qualification/training.
\n
\n
\n Full UK driving licence.
\n
\n
Full right to work in the UK. \n
\n\nUseful Backgrounds\n
Experience with the following equipment, standards, or environments would be an advantage:
\n
\n \n Boilers and steam systems
\n
\n
\n Autoclaves and sterilisation units
\n
\n
\n Washer-disinfectors
\n
\n
\n Medical device or pharmaceutical facilities
\n
\n
\n CfPP and HTM 01-01 guidelines
\n
\n
\n Other regulated environments requiring strict compliance and validation
\n
\n
\n
