What you’ll be doing:
\n Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a range of food production machinery
\n
\n
Responding quickly and effectively to breakdowns to reduce downtime
\n
\n
Working closely with production teams to maintain peak operational performance
\n
\n
Supporting continuous improvement and factory development projects
\n
\n
Assisting with equipment installation and commissioning
\n
\n
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with food safety and hygiene standards
\n
\n
What we’re looking for:
\n Experience in a maintenance engineering role – food or FMCG background ideal
\n
\n
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills (including pneumatics and hydraulics)
\n
\n
A proactive, can-do attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
\n
Flexibility to work shifts and support production as needed
\n
\n
Engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND or similar) desirable, but practical experience equally valued
\n
\n

Full-time, permanent role Monday to Friday (7am–5pm, with a rota for 1 in 5 weekend cover if required)
