Maintenance Engineer

As our new Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maximising productivity through proactive maintenance, reducing downtime and improving machine efficiency. As a key member of the engineering team carrying out maintenance on the manufacturing sites; ensuring work is carried out safely; keeping machines well maintained in a safe working condition; providing support and training to the engineering apprentices; Carrying out regulatory and statutory inspections; Support in ensuring contractors are correctly managed when on site; update spare part inventory ensuring enough spares are kept in stock; keep accurate records; provide detailed reports (including but not limited to) of any maintenance, breakdowns and incidents; Provide ideas and solutions to improve current machinery and process; Support in specifying new machinery; Ensuring new machinery is safely brought into operation; Carry out risk assessments and developing SSOWs. Shift pattern - Week 1 - Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun
