If you're passionate about keeping production lines running efficiently and safely, this could be the perfect next step.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Carry out both planned preventative and reactive maintenance across the site.\n\n * \n\n Fault finding and repair on a range of food manufacturing equipment – including conveyors, slicers, ovens, and packaging machinery.\n\n * \n\n Ensure downtime is minimised through effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis.\n\n * \n\n Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and production.\n\n * \n\n Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, adhering to compliance and safety regulations.\n\n * \n\n Support with engineering projects, equipment installations, and upgrades as needed.\n\n * \n\n Work collaboratively with the production and technical teams to maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\n * \n\n 18th Edition qualified (essential)\n\n * \n\n Proven experience working as a maintenance engineer in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment\n\n * \n\n Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills\n\n * \n\n Knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, and automated systems (advantageous)\n\n * \n\n Flexible, team-focused attitude with a drive to get stuck in\n\n * \n\n Health & safety and food hygiene awareness\n\n * \n\n NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering ()\n\nWhat’s On Offer:\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary + regular overtime\n\n * \n\n Secure and permanent role within a growing chilled food manufacturer\n\n * \n\n Modern, well-equipped site with ongoing investment\n\n * \n\n Training and development opportunities\n\n * \n\n Supportive, team-focused working environment\n\n Ready for your next move?\nApply now with your CV for immediate consideration and let’s talk about how you can grow your engineering career in food manufacturing
