Job Title: Maintenance Engineer – Injection & Compression Moulding Location: Crewkerne, Somerset Salary: £34,000 per annum (£16.79/hour) + Overtime (£25.18/hour) Contract: Permanent Hours: 7:45am – 6:00pm, Monday to Thursday (39 hours/week) Overtime: Fridays – paid at time and a half Holidays: 29 days per year (including bank holidays) Job Overview: We are urgently seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a busy production site in Crewkerne , Somerset. This is a mechanical and electrical maintenance role , working on: Modern Injection Moulding Machines Compression Moulding Presses Ancillary manufacturing equipment You will also support general site maintenance, PAT testing , and help ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards . Key Responsibilities: Perform planned and reactive maintenance on moulding machinery and plant equipment Fault find and repair mechanical and electrical breakdowns Maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems Support machinery upgrades, installations, and continuous improvements Carry out PAT testing and site safety checks Ensure Health & Safety policies are followed at all times Preferred Experience & Skills: These are desirable but not essential – training may be provided.
