Maintenance Engineer

Straight-Line Civils are currently hiring a Mechanical Engineer in a workshop located in Braintree, Essex.
This candidate will be reporting to the engineering managers while also communicating well with other engineers and passing on relevant information to their manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide a pro-active approach to the prevention of equipment failure and ensuring the schedule is carried out as planned
* Ensuring that all work is completely safe, efficient, and compliant
* Resolve mechanical and/or electrical problems in a timely fashion
* Support business production goals
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
* Technical certification or degree qualification - level 2 minimum
* Technical knowledge of electrical systems
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
* Mechanically Biased
* Skills - PLC, hydraulics, temperature control, instrumentation, welding, FLT/MEWP license
Benefits:
* Salary - £38,303 basic + £2k call out allowance

Hours - 08:00 - 16:00 Monday - Friday with 1 in 3 weeks on call (7 days)
