Role: Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical Bias Location: Birmingham, West Midlands Salary: £40,000-£45,000 per annum + Overtime @ 1.5x / 2x Saturday PM Hours: Monday-Friday Day Shift Job Type: Full time, Permanent The Package: • 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays + Holiday Buy Scheme • Company Pension Scheme + Salary sacrifice scheme to increase contributions • Overtime available and paid at 1.5x / 2x Saturday PM • Company Van + fuel card for all commuting to and from site, as well as travelling to other sites across the West Midlands • Broad learning and career progression opportunities with plenty of training on offer The Duties: • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance system for the site and respond to unplanned plant shutdowns and emergencies where required • Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance on plant equipment • Support plant improvement projects and upgrades • Respond to unplanned plant shutdowns and emergencies • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams, as well as external contractors • Travel to other sites in the West Midlands as required The Requirements: • Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience within heavy engineering (essential) • Previous experience in a heavy industrial envi...
