Maintenance Engineer\n\nMake a difference where it matters most.\n\nWe are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading provider of healthcare and life science solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your engineering expertise in a role that directly supports the NHS, protects vulnerable patients, and contributes to infection prevention.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nIn this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of plant and machinery, including:\n\nCarrying out planned and reactive maintenance.\n\nOverseeing contractors and service engineers.\n\nPerforming routine tests and supporting validation processes.\n\nManaging spare parts and advising on replenishment.\n\nParticipating in the on-call rota and occasional travel to other sites.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nWe're seeking an engineer with the right mix of technical expertise and proactive mindset:\n\nApprentice-trained engineer (or equivalent).\n\nMinimum 2 years' engineering experience in facilities or manufacturing.\n\nMechanical or electrical qualification/training.\n\nFull UK driving licence.\n\nFull right to work in the UK.\n\nUseful Backgrounds\n\nExperience with the following equipment, standards, or environments would be an advantage:\n\nBoilers and steam systems\n\nAutoclaves and sterilisation units\n\nWasher-disinfectors\n\nMedical device or pharmaceutical facilities\n\nCfPP and HTM 01-01 guidelines\n\nOther regulated environments requiring strict compliance and validation\n\nIf you feel you are suitable for this role, please attach your most updated CV and I will be in touch
