Role Overview:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll carry out reactive and planned maintenance on a variety of production equipment, supporting a critical site operation in Wednesbury. This role is mechanically biased (approx. 95%), but some basic electrical fault finding and component replacement will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair production equipment including: Conveyor systems Industrial washing machines Linen presses Gas dryers (non-Gas Safe elements only) Feeders, folders, and ironers Chemical feed systems Respond to breakdowns and carry out preventative maintenance Fault find and replace basic electrical components (contactors, motors, sensors, etc.) Support site safety, hygiene, and performance standards What We're Looking For: Level 3 Engineering qualification (Level 2 considered) – UK or international Strong mechanical skills essential; basic electrical knowledge required Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial laundry, or processing environments beneficial Willingness to work rotating shifts (days/nights) on a 4 on / 4 off pattern Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off rotation (2 blocks of days 06:30–18:30, then 4 off, followed by 2 blocks of nights 18:30–06:30, then 4 off) What’s on Offer: Salary up to £40,385 DOE (includes shift allowance) 21 days holiday + bank holidays Company pension scheme Long-term career potential within a national organisation (30 sites UK-wide) Opportunity to work with modern, large-scale machinery in a clean, structured environment Apply today to secure a position with a national leader offering long-term job stability and future progression opportunities
