The ideal maintenance engineer will have the following skills and experiences; Good electrical, mechanical or electro mechanical engineering experience - ability and experience in interpreting and reading hydraulic diagrams, engineering drawings and electrical diagrams Engineering qualifications in maintenance, service, mechanical electrical, electro- mechanical engineering fields- level 2 engineering or level 3 engineering or above ideally Service experience of large vehicles, heavy plant machinery, basic petrol, diesel engines or generators, large and small machines or similar equipment Previous electrical or mechanical maintenance, installation, service and repair experience of plant equipment, plant machinery, plant engineering is desirable but can be developed if the above engineering experience and skills are evident Ex forces service maintenance engineers, REME te...
