The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that all machinery is maintained to a high standard, with the aim of minimising downtime. Your Responsibilities as a Maintenance Engineer: Planning and scheduling maintenance works to maximise operational efficiency and minimise downtime Conducting electrical and mechanical maintenance, including reactive breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance on conveyor belt systems, shredders, balers, and separation equipment Collaborating with equipment suppliers on new equipment installations and modifications Troubleshooting using PLC programmes Carrying out general site maintenance on other specified equipment to ensure the plant remains operational and efficient Monitoring line and machine performance closely Performing preventative and predictive maintenance routines Ideally, as a Maintenance Engineer, you will have: A qualification in either Mechanical or Electrical engineering A minimum of two years' experience within an FMCG environment Proficiency in English, both written and verbal Clear and strong communication skills If you are interested in similar opportunities for Maintenance Engineer roles and other vacancies within the Engineering & Manufacturing sector, please visit out website.
