A Day in the Life: Tackle planned preventative maintenance without breaking a sweat Solve mechanical and electrical hiccups solo or as part of the team Keep your tools (and your workspace) clean, sharp, and ready Help keep downtime to a minimum and productivity to a maximum Log your work properly (engineers who write things down = heroes) Pitch in at control room meetings and share your insights Support apprentices and new starters your wisdom is valuable Embrace training opportunities to grow your skills further Stick to health, safety, and food safety rules like your boots depend on it Handle parts and stores procedures like a seasoned pro Deal with contractors when needed keeping everyone on track What You Bring to the Table: A technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent) Completed an apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical trades? Even better Real-world experience maintaining equipment in manufacturing or industrial settings Skills in fault-finding and repair across electrical and mechanical systems Solid communication and a real team-player attitude Bonus Points If You Also Have: Certs like Working at Height, Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels, or a forklift licence Experience using CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation systems The ability to read technical drawings like theyre bedtime stories HACCP training Why Join Us?
