Our leading manufacturing client based in Leighton Buzzard is currently recruiting for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As part of a dedicated maintenance team, you will focus on proactive maintenance and play a vital role in providing 24/7 breakdown support when needed.
Key Responsibilties - Maintenance Engineer
Perform maintenance and fault diagnosis on advanced industrial equipment, including Injection Moulding machines and assembly lines. Support site assets to maximise Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Follow Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules. Troubleshoot PLC and Drive systems. Ensure all tasks are completed safely and in compliance with regulations. Work within a shift-based team providing 24/7 breakdown support for a high-output manufacturing facility. Utilise CMMS systems for maintenance tracking and reporting. Collaborate with operational management and staff to address engineering maintenance needs. Work from planned maintenance schedules and provide detailed feedback on faults and repairs. Provide clear and timely updates to maintenance management, identifying potential issues to support preventative maintenance planning.
