Shift Engineer - Ellesmere Port 4on4off (Days & Nights) £58,437 gap technical are seeking a Shift Engineer (Services) to join our client. This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in maintaining and improving a fast-paced production environment. As a Shift Engineer, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of plant services, troubleshooting live issues, and driving continuous improvement. Performance Objectives Troubleshoot live plant issues and drive them through to resolution. Complete preventative maintenance tasks to the required standard. Maintain and support the site SCADA system, liaising with contracted providers when necessary. Ensure automated processes consistently deliver product to the filling lines efficiently. Support the Tankhouse team with day-to-day maintenance and utilities plant operations, including refrigeration, effluent treatment, boilers, and water treatment. Respond promptly to breakdowns, resolving faults independently and identifying root causes to prevent recurrence. Diagnose line data and management systems to maximise line efficiency.
