Manufacturing Control/Electrical Engineer

Job Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of developing and maintaining the site electrical/control systems, as well as assisting in the resolution of day-to-day issues associated with a manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
Liaise closely with the site teams to build a strong relationship ensuring good understanding and strong communication lines. Proactively work to resolve repeat issues by use of Continuous Improvement techniques. Supporting the sites production requirements. Life Cycle modeling of the site Control/Electrical Equipment. Support manufacturing team to minimise production downtime due to Electrical/Control issues. Provide fast response to breakdowns, including occasional out-of-hours support. Maintain product certification and approval through regular audits. Priority setting supporting breakdowns and focus where necessary. Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis on major unplanned breakdowns and recurring problems.
Skills Required:
Strong engineering background with comprehensive technical expertise in Control, Automation, and Safety Systems and equipment. Hands-on expertise of multiple automation platforms with a strong ability to carry out diagnostics and troubleshooting.
