Prepare for, attend, actively and constructively contribute to, and complete actions from Company/Department/Cell meetings and improvement initiatives as required.**Location:** Christchurch UK**We Take Care of Our People**Work-life balance through our Hybrid working, flexitime program and condensed work week (role dependent) I Paid Time Off I Retirement with Employer Match I Health and Wellness Benefits I Learning and Development Opportunities I Competitive Pay I Bonus Scheme I Recognition I I**Your Challenge*** Comply with all Company and personal Health and Safety requirements.* Comply with the requirements defined by the Quality Management System* In line with Company objectives and requirements:* Implement improvements and develop effective production techniques to continually improve the processes and mitigate risks from poor design, build, and test.* Ensure that any method or system produced is fully documented and specified.* Provide an active and effective interface with Engineering to facilitate full manufacturability and testability related input to the integrated design and development process to optimise the manufacturing quality to cost balance.* Manage the introduction of new products into production ensuring that opportunities to remove all manufacturability issues are identified and actioned before full-time production commences and to mitigate risks from design oversights.* Liaise with all necessary parties to develop test schedules and hardware, and process documents necessary to embody quality in production units.* Ensure risk mitigation plans are developed and effective manufacturing methods are gained from closed loop lessons learned and manufacturing learning curve progression.**What You Bring*** HND/HNC Electronic Engineering and/or Engineering Apprenticeship or relevant experience in electronic / pneumatic engineering, electrical / mechanical assembly techniques, and the ability to demonstrate competence to successfully carry out the requirements of the role.* Possess hardware design/build and software programming skills.* A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access and experience in GPIB, Python and Labwindows CVI would be advantageous.* Knowledge of electronic circuits and systems. Experience with electronic test instruments such as DMMs, switch matrices, oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, loads, etc.* Experience translating test procedure documents into automated test sequences.**Who We Are**Curtiss-Wright's Defense Solution Division is a trusted, proven leader, delivering superior products and services that meet the defense and aerospace industries' toughest challenges with best-in-class value.
