Kingston Barnes has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer for one of our clients in Gloucestershire The Role: * Process optimization and continuous improvement to drive operational efficiency * Project manage improvements, initiatives to improve machine shop OEE, recovery hours & reduce NCRs & tooling cost. * Evaluating manufacturing processes. Testing new and existing production procedures * Developing effective automated and non-automated systems * Problem solves challenges in the manufacturing process, new product introductions, optimise CNC programs and routings. * Review/write standard operating procedures to keep the machine shop updated on latest safe & efficient process on metal cutting. * Evaluate manufacturing processes to improve quality, efficiency and speed * Introducing lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and streamline workflows through set up reductions, machine cutting parameter & tooling reviews * Study production and machine requirements for new parts * Develop and test effective automated and manual systems * Design and install / project manage new Capex equipment * Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources * Integrate disparate systems (e.g. equipment...
