Overview:

We are seeking a skilled

Production/Manufacturing Engineer

to support the delivery of high-quality defence equipment through optimised manufacturing processes. You will work closely with design, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective production.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes and workflows.

Support the transition of products from design to production (NPI).

Resolve production issues and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with defence manufacturing standards and quality requirements.

Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to meet delivery and performance targets.

Requirements:

Degree or HND in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Production Engineering (or equivalent experience).

Experience in a defence, aerospace, or high-integrity manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.

Familiarity with technical drawings, BOMs, routings, and ERP/MRP systems.

Eligible for SC / DV security clearance.

Desirable:

Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, or other defence/aerospace quality standards.

Hands-on experience with tooling, jigs, and assembly techniques.

Knowledge of defence-specific regulations and materials.
