Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Grantham, with travel across UK sites

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

Manufacturing Engineer Overview:

Our client is undergoing a Lean Transformation and seeks a proactive Lean Manufacturing Engineer to drive waste elimination, improve efficiency, and boost operational performance. This hands-on role will work closely with operations teams to deliver practical, measurable improvements using Lean methodologies.

Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:

Identify and eliminate waste across manufacturing sites

Drive efficiency and performance improvements using Lean tools

Conduct time and motion studies, root cause analysis, and 5S implementation

Engage with cross-functional teams to embed Lean practices

Analyse operational data and present improvement recommendations

Travel regularly to UK sites to support local teams

Manufacturing Engineer Requirements:

Graduate Engineer with 2 years’ experience in Lean manufacturing

Strong knowledge of Lean tools (5S, 7 Wastes, 5 Whys, Fishbone)

Advanced data analysis and Excel skills

Hands-on, self-motivated, and able to work independently

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Willingness to travel across the UK
