Description
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure repeatable and reliable processes. Monitor production processes to ensure conformity to technical drawings through spot checks and performance audits. Train and support forging operators to ensure understanding and compliance with new methods and procedures. Identify opportunities for process optimisation, simplification, and automation, including robot integration. Lead and support change initiatives by challenging the status quo and proposing practical engineering solutions. Maintain and reorganise store locations and departmental layout for maximum efficiency. Provide hands-on technical support in forging operations involving hydraulic and flywheel presses, slitting machines, induction heating, and coatings.Profile
