Manufacturing Engineer

Location: CV30 Area Hourly Rate: £25 per hour + holiday pay Hours: Monday to Friday – normal day shift hours Contract Length: 6-month contract

Syntech Recruitment are looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer with a passion for machining processes. The successful person will play a critical role in defining the best routes to manufacture, supporting shop floor teams, and reducing cost and lead time, without compromising on quality.

Manufacturing Engineer responsibilities:

Estimate machining and process times to meet design requirements with maximum efficiency Develop, implement, and improve hands-on manufacturing processes for CNC milling and turning Design and specify tooling, fixturing, and equipment—overseeing procurement and implementation Provide cutting data to ensure optimal machine performance Support shop floor teams with daily issue resolution and realisation of quoted times Collaborate with quality and production teams to reduce the Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) Communicate with the design authority to understand part intent and process requirements Create routing and planning data for new or revised parts

Manufacturing Engineer Experience:
