This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a wide variety of leisure and commercial marine projects, delivering exceptional standards of workmanship and customer care.This hands-on role is ideal for someone experienced with marine mechanical systems up to 1000hp who enjoys working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. ResponsibilitiesCarry out mechanical engineering on a range of leisure and commercial craft (up to 1000hp)Interact with clients on-site, promoting services and upholding high professional standardsWork effectively as part of a skilled team to deliver quality and efficiency across projectsSupport continuous improvement and business development through input and feedbackMaintain and promote high standards of health and safety at all times Candidate RequirementsEssential: Proven and current experience as a marine mechanical engineerEssential: Strong understanding of marine engines and systems up to 1000hpEssential: Full UK driving licenceEssential: Strong teamworking and communication skillsEssential: Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in a marine environmentDesirable: Experience with marine electrical systemsDesirable: Customer-facing experience or training What’s on Offer40-hour week: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, with ½ hour lunch breakOvertime paid at 1.5x standard rate21 days holiday plus all Bank HolidaysPaid day off on your birthdayMatched 5% pension contributions (Royal London Personal Pension Scheme)Life insurance (2x annual salary in the event of death in service)Accident insurance (75% of salary for up to 2 years, applicable at home or work)Private healthcare scheme, with option to extend to close family #J-18808-Ljbffr
