Marine Engineer Location: South Cornwall Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Permanent - £35k Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am
4:30pm (40 hours/week) Join a Leading Marine Engineering Team Were looking for a skilled and passionate Marine Engineer to join a well-established marine engineering company based in South Cornwall. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a wide variety of leisure and commercial marine projects, delivering exceptional standards of workmanship and customer care. This hands-on role is ideal for someone experienced with marine mechanical systems up to 1000hp who enjoys working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Key Responsibilities Carry out mechanical engineering on a range of leisure and commercial craft (up to 1000hp)
Interact with clients on-site, promoting services and upholding high professional standards
Work effectively as part of a skilled team to deliver quality and efficiency across projects
Support continuous improvement and business development through input and feedback
Maintain and promote high standards of health and safety at all times
Candidate Requirements Essential: Proven and current experience as a marine mechanical engineer
Strong understanding of marine engines and systems up to 1000hp
Full UK driving licence
Strong teamworking and communication skills
Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in a marine environment
Desirable: Experience with marine electrical systems
Customer-facing experience or training
Whats on Offer 40-hour week: Monday to Friday, 8:00am4:30pm, with
hour lunch break
Overtime paid at 1.5x standard rate
