This may include providing training to relevant groups.To develop applications which can interact with the SQL database for import/export of data in specific ways by using VBA, C#, .NET, XML, Python, etc.To understand company business objectives and ensure that the work they do supports this; To act in accordance with both the company values and those associated with being a professional engineer.To actively promote, encourage and support the identification and implementation of continuous improvement both within and outside their immediate sphere and prompt action across the wider team.QualificationsBachelor's degree, Master's or PhD in Engineering or equivalent technical capability based on practical knowledge and experience.Technical experience relevant to database creation, maintenance and management.An ability to apply logical, analytical and innovative thinking to a range of technical problems.Knowledge and experience of data analysis & statistical methods (Probability, Distributions, Students t, Chi Sq, Confidence Intervals, Likelihood, Polynomial Regression, etc).Knowledge and experience of coding using: Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), C# Programming, Microsoft .NET Framework, Spreadsheet Gear, Microsoft SQL, XML, Python.Membership in a relevant professional body appropriate to the region.
