Position 1 Recruitment is pleased to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in the search for a Mechanical Assembly and Test Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable team where you will play a key role in the assembly and testing of mechanical systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical systems and components according to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Conduct functional and performance testing to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical faults during assembly and testing
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support product improvements
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes and test results
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations

Previous experience/ qualifications:

  • Level 3 qualification in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Reliable, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality work
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment
  • Basic experience with electrical and control panels
