We value authenticity, entrepreneurship and teamwork as we strive to be a great place to work while achieving our business goals.What does your typical day look like?Provide a timely and effective Planned Maintenance engineering service to our production facilities while ensuring safety, quality and hygiene standards are met.Key responsibilitiesCarry out planned maintenance activities as scheduled by the maintenance plan contained within the CMMSAttend and repair breakdowns as required, and report all actions carried out and any further actions required, via the CMMSReport comprehensively via the CMMS all work activities carried out on a daily/shift basisBe proactive in preventing equipment failures and improving overall equipment performance by generating and implementing ideas and modificationsProvide a service that meets agreed service levels, including minimising downtime and communicating effectively with relevant personnelProvide a service that meets food safety standards, whilst maintaining standards of housekeeping and personal hygieneMaintain and help improve health and safety standards and ensure that staff work in a safe environment by eliminating, minimising and controlling risksCooperate with contractors and ensure their adherence to site rules, health and safety and food safety standardsUndertake training as required to further enhance individual’s skills and knowledgeTrain others so that they are able to carry out their expected work duties to the required standardsIdentify performance issues and implement appropriate and pragmatic solutions through problem solving skills, tools and techniquesMaximise the use of labour and skills by being flexible in terms of work allocation and scheduling within the teamPrioritise workload in consultation with appropriate personnel for overall site performanceWork to agreed deadlines where necessary and operate under KPI guidance to maximise business performanceQualifications and ExperienceEducated to ONC standard (or equivalent) or higher in mechanical engineering (and electrical if dual skilled)Post-apprenticeship experience, preferably in a high volume manufacturing environment (Food environment preferable)Proven practitioner of preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, problem solving and continuous improvementStrong diagnostic fault-finding ability under production pressureFamiliar with TPM principles including 5SExperience with CMMS (ideally SAP, but not essential)If you are ready to begin a career with real bite, we would love to hear from you so apply now by clicking the link below. #J-18808-Ljbffr
