We’re growing our mechanical building services engineering team to take on new challenges and deliver even greater impact across a wide variety of projects and sectors.\n\nYou’ll get involved in everything from:\n\nShaping sustainable designs – from pre-planning advice to renewable energy and low-carbon solutions.\n\nDelivering technical excellence – from concept through to detailed design, across multiple procurement routes.\n\nDriving quality onsite – monitoring installations, testing, commissioning, and verifying performance.\n\nEmbracing digital delivery – working in BIM environments and integrating design into common models.\n\nAdding long-term value – supporting asset management, carbon reduction, and post-occupancy energy performance.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\n\nWe’re looking for someone ambitious, curious, and ready to make an impact. You’ll bring:\n\nA technical background in mechanical building services engineering, with experience in calculations, sizing, and design.\n\nGood knowledge of CIBSE guidance, building regulations, and British Standards, with awareness of sector-specific requirements like HTM for healthcare.\n\nStrong IT and design software skills – from IESVE and AutoCAD to Microsoft Office and BIM-focused tools.\n\nA team spirit, alongside the confidence to work with a degree of independence.\n\nA professional presence at client meetings, site visits, and project reviews.\n\nA full UK driving license.\n\nost importantly, you’ll have the drive to learn, grow, and help shape the future of our M&E service line.\n\nWhy BWB?\n\nWe believe great work starts with a great workplace.
