Mechanical Design Engineer – Building Services

Location: Hybrid / Bromsgrove

Salary: Competitive or Company Car + 25 Days Holiday (+ Bank Holidays)

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Working Pattern: Primarily office-based (flexibility for up to 2 days WFH)

About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a background in Building Services to join our dynamic and growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong HVAC design background and proven experience in office fit-out projects. You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality mechanical designs and ensuring compliance through thorough validation reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

* Mechanical design of HVAC systems for building services projects, primarily office fit-outs

* Production and review of validation reports

* Use of AutoCAD and Revit to produce accurate technical drawings and designs

* Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met

* Supporting project delivery from concept to completion

Requirements:

* Proven experience in Building Services as a Mechanical Design Engineer

* Strong HVAC knowledge and experience

* Experience working on office fit-out projects

* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit

* Ability to produce and review technical reports

* Excellent communication and coordination skills
