Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our expanding design division during a key stage of development. This is a hands-on role for a proactive, detail-driven individual who can work independently while also collaborating closely with project teams and senior management.

You will be responsible for producing mechanical design work from concept to fully coordinated installation-ready designs across a mix of education and commercial, with a strong initial focus on education sector works.

This position is crucial to the continuing evolution of the design function and provides an opportunity to grow within a team that places a strong emphasis on technology-driven delivery, collaboration, and sustainable engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop technical mechanical designs from Stage 2 to Stage 5, aligned with internal standards and deadlines

Manage project requirements including full coordination of MEP services using Revit-based tools

Undertake initial contract and design scope reviews, including qualifications and technical documentation

Produce mechanical designs, calculations, and specifications using provided software
