We are working with our key client looking to add a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of experience (or a strong engineering graduate) to gain hands-on experience in mechanical handling system design while working alongside experienced engineers. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in the design and development of mechanical handling systems and components. * Create 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks (or similar CAD software). * Support the preparation of manufacturing packs, including material lists and assembly instructions. * Work closely with senior engineers to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective. * Provide input and support during the manufacturing and assembly process. Required Skills & Experience: * 1-2 years of mechanical design experience, or a recent engineering graduate with relevant project work. * Familiarity with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred). * Basic understanding of mechanical design principles and fabrication processes. * A keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn from experienced engineers. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
