Mechanical Design Engineer Rate Expectation: £40 - £50 per hour Inside IR35 Hybrid in Dundee, a minimum of 3 days in the office. 12 months contract
A key requirement is previous experience leading a mechanical design team preferably working on electro/mechanical systems operating under S/W control.
S/W Controls are single channel controllers for battery operated toys and appliances Managing of Fault tolerance in media handling system; Building systems that can withstand failures and continue to function properly. This is crucial in scenarios where media processing is time-sensitive or where data integrity is paramount, like in broadcasting, video editing, or cloud storage.
The end use of the product, the media handling devices, are used in self-service products (Auto-Teller Machines for the Banking Industry).
Requirements A Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Hons 2:1 or better preferred).
