Mechanical Design Engineer Inspire Resourcing Ltd are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in CADdesignto join theteam at their clients premises in Chesterfield This role involves designing precision mechanical components and assemblies for manufacture, creating detailed 2D, 3D models and technical drawings. You will be supporting projects from concept through to production. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams including quality, manufacturing, and procurement to ensure designs are cost-effective, functional, and aligned with customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Create and update 2D or 3D modeland detailed technical drawings using Cad. Develop mechanical designs and assemblies in line with engineering specifications, performance targets, and manufacturing constraints. Produce and manage Bill of Materials (BOMs) and design documentation. Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet internal and customer quality standards.
