JOB – Mechanical Design Engineer LOCATION – Thetford TERM – Permanent SALARY – £35,000 to £45,000 per annum (plus benefits)

My client is a specialist engineering company delivering bespoke machinery and mechanical systems. They are looking to take on an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Thetford.

The Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: • 5–10 years’ experience in mechanical design within manufacturing or engineering environments • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Revit • Experience with sheet metal design for fabrication and BIM workflows • Ability to produce accurate 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs • Engineering qualification (HNC, HND, BEng, MEng, or equivalent) • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
