JOB – Mechanical Design Engineer (Inventor) LOCATION – Newcastle TERM – Permanent SALARY – £30,000 to £40,000 per annum (plus benefits)

My client is a specialist engineering company working across a range of industrial sectors. They are looking to take on a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in Inventor to join their design team in Newcastle .

The Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: • Experience in mechanical design within manufacturing or engineering environments • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor • Ability to produce detailed 3D models, drawings, and BOMs • Knowledge of sheet metal, machined parts, and assemblies • Engineering qualification (HND, HNC, BEng, MEng, or similar) • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
