What You'll Do Design probing and handling mechanisms Produce detailed drawings to BS8888 standards for manufacturing Manage mechanical design within project cost constraints Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams Liaise directly with clients on mechanical requirements and specifications Source components, create accurate parts lists, and manage supplier relationships Support factory and site acceptance testing with customers Work within ISO procedures for documentation and change control

What We Need 2+ years

mechanical design experience Formal mechanical engineering qualification (2:1 degree or equivalent) Experience with machined components, sheet metal fabrication, and welded structures Knowledge of 19" rack systems and assembly techniques 3D CAD experience (Solid Edge preferred but not essential) Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes Security clearance requirements apply
