Mechanical Design Engineer key responsibilities - Design and develop bespoke mechanical systems and assemblies tailored to customer requirements. Produce accurate 2D manufacturing drawings and detailed 3D models using SolidWorks. Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BoMs) and supporting technical documentation. Specify suitable components and systems aligned to engineering and safety standards. Work closely with production, quality, and project teams to ensure successful delivery. Contribute to design reviews, testing, and continuous improvement activities. Mechanical Design Engineer desirable skills & experience - Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
