The Role: Manage mechanical design projects within cost constraints. Design probing & handling mechanisms for test fixtures & custom engineering solutions. Liaise with customers on projects and their mechanical requirements Detailed design to customer specifications (implementing changes if necessary) Work as part of a project team with engineers from other disciplines Producing drawings to BS8888 for manufacture & General Assembly Sourcing components & producing accurate parts lists Carry out factory acceptance tests (and site acceptance tests, when required) Integration of mechanical assembly into complete systems Work within ISO procedures (controlled documentation & change control management The Candidate: Minimum 2 years experience within Design.
