Are you a driven Mechanical Design Engineer looking to work on a diverse range of projects within a forward-thinking consultancy? We are supporting a Manchester-based engineering consultancy that delivers innovative design solutions across multiple industries, offering the opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding projects.

The Role:

• Producing detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and design documentation using SolidWorks/AutoCAD (or similar CAD software).
• Working across the full project lifecycle, from initial concept and feasibility through to detailed design and delivery.
• Collaborating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality and practical engineering solutions.
• Applying engineering principles, FEA/CFD techniques, and problem-solving skills to optimise designs for performance, cost, and sustainability.
• Conducting design reviews and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

About You:

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in mechanical design within a consultancy or project-based environment.
• Strong CAD skills, with exposure to SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD.
• A problem-solver with excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
