JOB- Mechanical Design Engineer
LOCATION- Dartford
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £35,000 to £45,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Premier Engineering is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading engineering company based in Dartford. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established team involved in the design and development of high-quality engineered products.
The Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
A degree or HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline Strong experience with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Inventor Knowledge of manufacturing processes including sheet metal, machining, and fabrication Ability to produce engineering drawings and documentation Good understanding of materials and tolerances Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team Previous experience in a design role within a manufacturing or engineering environment
The Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve:
Designing mechanical components and assemblies Producing 3D models and detailed 2D drawings Working closely with other engineers, project managers, and production teams Taking projects from initial concept through to manufacture Supporting testing and validation of designs as required
