Key Responsibilities – Mechanical Design Engineer

Design and develop mechanical systems for canning lines, including components like precision seaming and air drying units, using Autodesk Inventor for 3D modelling and technical drawings. Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and stress analyses to optimize designs for performance, safety, and manufacturability. Collaborate with electrical engineers, panel wirers, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs with control systems and ancillary equipment. Create detailed technical drawings, specifications, and prototypes to support manufacturing and client installations.
